Caregiver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Seniors Helping Seniors Central Oklahoma. Responsibilities:

• Provide non-medical care and companionship to seniors in their homes, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being

• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Facilitate socialization and engagement through recreational activities, outings, and conversations

• Prepare meals and snacks, as needed

• Maintain a safe and clean living environment

• Collaborate with other care team members to ensure comprehensive care and support

• Document client progress and provide reports to the care management team

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• ** Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable)**

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Experience working with seniors or in a caregiving capacity (not required, but preferred)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays

Work Environment:

• In-home care settings , providing one-on-one support to seniors in their own homes

• Part-Time schedule , with flexible hours to accommodate your needs
