This role involves working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment at a hospital, providing essential support to nursing staff and handling various distribution tasks. The right candidate will have experience with IV training and will be competent in IV sterile compounding.

Key responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician include:

• Picking and delivering medications to Pyxis machines
• Answering phones and maintaining rapid communication with the nursing staff
• Prepacking medications into unit dose containers
• Emptying return bins and performing station inspections
• Checking for outdates and returning medications to stock
• Assisting with medication delivery orders from wholesalers

Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician include:

• Valid NH State license and National Technician Certification
• IV training or willingness to learn IV sterile compounding
• Good communication skills
• Experience with Meditech Expanse and basic technician tasks
