As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and control entry and exit in accordance with established policies for a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through appropriate channels.
• Maintain accurate access-control, visitor, and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, common spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
