Payroll Specialist

Job Address: 3819 Chesterfield AveCharleston, WV 25304 Charleston Healthcare Center currently has a FTopening for a Payroll Specialist to join our team! As Payroll Specialist, you will efficiently compile and maintain payroll records for Moundsville Healthcare Center employees. This includes: Field overtime, paid time, and trade requests, and communicating with Corporate Payroll as needed. Respect the confidentiality and dignity of employees. Review daily exemption sheets for payroll. Ensure that payroll records are accurately maintained. Generate payroll reports and distribute them to department heads for review. Answer questions from employees, department heads, etc. regarding payroll.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High School graduate or GED equivalent Payroll experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Experience in Workday and/or Kronos preferred Excellent organization skills and high level of attention to detail Excellent communication skills
