Pharmacist - Littleton, CO

A pharmacy professional is needed for a contract position in the Denver area supporting inpatient pharmacy services. The role entails floating between two locations, primarily in Aurora and Denver, providing comprehensive pharmacy care within the hospital setting.


Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, pharmacokinetic monitoring, and collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure safe and effective medication management. The position requires practicing in an inpatient environment, addressing the dynamic needs of hospital patients.


Schedule and Location:

• Day shift schedule
• Approximately 36-40 hours per week
• Weekday shifts typically 10 hours; weekend shifts approximately 6 hours
• Floating between two sites: about 3 days per week in Aurora and 1-2 days per week in Denver (subject to change based on business needs)

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado pharmacist license
• Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience, including hospital or inpatient background
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex pharmaceutical care
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
