Title: Dental Assistant – Oral Surgery

Duration: 12 Weeks Contract

Location: New York, NY 10065

Shift: Day Shift | 5x8.5 Hours | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay Rate: $34/hr

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Chairside Dental Assistant experience

• Experience in 4-Handed Dentistry and Oral Surgery (extractions, implants, etc.)

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Completion of a Certified Dental Assisting Program preferred

• Active BLS (AHA) certification required

• RDA certification preferred

• EPIC EMR documentation experience required

• NY license must be submitted with application (pending licenses not accepted)

• Alginate Impressions

• Crown & Bridge Procedures

• Amalgam Restorations

• Temporary Restorations

• Room Setup for Dental Procedures

• Surgical & Simple Extractions

• Oral X-Rays & Panorex Imaging

• Vital Signs Collection

• Infection Prevention & Sterilization

• Instrument Processing & Bagging

• Supply Management & Equipment Maintenance

• Working with Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric Patients

• Experience with Patients with Special Needs

Equipment Experience:

• Saliva Ejector

• Suction Systems

• Panorex Machines

• Dental X-Ray Equipment
