Job Summary Responsible to provide construction leadership and perform administration and management within a defined scope of services from pre-programming/planning through inception to completion for capital construction projects. Provide guidance on project-related activities. Serve as the lead for the Project Delivery Team (PDT), composed of the Owner, Architect/Engineer, Contractor, and the internal AG|CM team. Coordinate with the PDT to further interests of the Owner and act as agent and/or advisor. High-level analysis, reporting, integration and coordination of the Owner's outsourced services and in-house staff to manage large capital construction programs. Manage multiple projects concurrently or varying overlap as part of an overall program. The Program Manager may perform the essential functions of Project Manager, Construction Manager and/or Construction Inspector. Otherwise, the Program Manager will supervise the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Quality Assurance Inspector of the project. Responsibilities Build pipeline of new business for AG|CM in the East Texas Region, communicating the value of services to potential clients and partners. Create responses to RFPs/RFQs/SOQs, including writing and designing proposals. Represent AG|CM in a positive professional manner while involved in civic and professional organizations. Supervise and/or mentor Construction Managers, Assistant Construction Managers, Quality Assurance Inspectors, and other technical or administrative personnel assigned to the project. Perform high-level analysis, reporting, and coordination of the owner's outsourced services. Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of progressive construction project management experience as a Program Manager on commercial horizontal construction projects. 10+ years of progressive construction project management experience as a Project Manager across all phases (engineering, design, preconstruction, construction, commissioning). 10+ years of progressive construction project management experience leading major agency construction budgets, schedules, contractor performance, working directly with principals and owners in sectors such as K‑12, healthcare, federal/state government, emergency services, retail, multi‑family, engineering, city/county, TxDOT, Water/WW/SWPP, electrical/mechanical/plumbing construction. Computer skills: MS Office Suite, MS Windows; experience with Procore a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience with business and technical writing. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, excellent customer service, proactive and positive attitude. Preferred Qualifications Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE) License, or AIA Certified. Experience as owner’s representative overseeing commercial construction projects. Education Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Marketing or another relevant field. Licenses/Certifications Current valid Texas driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
