$75,000 to $90,000 per year depending on experience and certification, plus efficiency-based bonuses on top of that.

 

Our service department is the backbone of this dealership, and we are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join a shop that keeps our customers running year-round.

 

We are searching for someone who understands both the machine and the operation behind it, and who can diagnose a problem accurately the first time rather than replacing parts until it works.

 

This is a hands-on role for a technician who takes pride in doing the job right and standing behind the work, not just turning hours.

 

Responsibilities

 

- Accurately diagnose and repair agricultural equipment, including tractors, combines, planters, hay tools, and attachments

- Complete in in-depth repairs, both in the shop and in the field

- Perform inspections, both in the shop and in the field

- Run diagnostics using manufacturer software, tools, and connected technology

- Communicate diagnosis and recommendations clearly to the service manager and customer

- Document work accurately on repair orders, including time, parts, and findings

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

- Keep current on manufacturer training and certification

 

Qualifications

 

- Experience repairing agricultural, construction, or heavy diesel equipment

- Strong diagnostic ability across hydraulics, electrical, powertrain, and engines

- Comfortable working with diagnostic software and equipment technology

- Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

- Own set of hand tools

- Valid driver's license, CDL a plus

- Case IH experience is a plus, but we will train the right person

- Dependable, safety minded, and able to work independently
