Senior Product Design Engineer

Job Description

Lead the design and development of aerospace Environmental Control Systems (ECS) from concept through production.

• Design composite and metallic aerospace components .
• Create 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks/CATIA .
• Lead prototype, testing, qualification, and production efforts.
• Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers.

• Bachelors in Engineering with 10+ years of design experience .
• Strong composite and metallic design/manufacturing background.
• Advanced SolidWorks and/or CATIA experience with GD&T.
• Aerospace testing/qualification experience; ANSYS, DO-160, or MIL-STD-810 preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valencia, CA.

The pay range for this position is $67.31 - $96.15/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
