Mobile Associate Store-In-Store – Retail Sales Location: United States, D.C., Washington Posted: Oct 08, 2025 Job Overview Mobile Associates in Store‑in‑Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. Job Responsibilities Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly‑traffic retail environment, use digital tools, communicate effectively, educate customers, and showcase the value of T‑Mobile solutions. Consistently use digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and the onboarding process; identify customer needs and apply solution‑based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T‑Mobile products and services. Recommend wireless solutions and onboarding tools that help customers understand and use the T‑Mobile app. Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills, products, and processes; review personal results, current promotions, and updates on the Hub to stay customer‑ready. Partner with nearby store locations to properly onboard customers and perform skill practice, knowledge sharing, store operations, opening and closing procedures. Show customer obsession: be passionate, friendly, and engaging; build rapport, trust, and loyalty; exceed expectations. Proactively reach out to potential customers, capture referrals, manage “Be Back” processes, and perform price overrides for specialty offers specific to National Retail. Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and account servicing. Education High School Diploma/GED (Required) Work Experience 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred (Required) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Customer‑satisfaction focus: passionate customer advocate skilled at balancing experience and performance goals (Required) Team building: willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, sharing best practices while serving customers (Required) Retail sales: competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (Required) Licenses and Certifications Minimum Age and Eligibility At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel Travel required: No DOT Regulation and Safety DOT Regulated Position: No Safety Sensitive Position: No Compensation Hourly Base Pay: $18.00 Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for incentive pay while completing training milestones. Once completed, Mobile Associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000 per year. Actual incentives vary based on performance and full‑time status. All employees at T‑Mobile are guaranteed to earn $20 /hour inclusive of base pay and incentives, and every employee is eligible for an annual stock grant.
