Teacher Responsibilities The Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with children, adults, teacher assistants, and resolving parental concerns. Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans Build and maintain relationships with children and families Communicate with families, teachers, and support staff Meet the needs of children in a caring manner Perform light cleaning duties Requirements High school diploma or equivalent We are willing to train great candidates in SIDS, Abusive head trauma, and other entry-level requirements for a child care teacher Benefits Work in a single staffed classroom with easy-going supportive families.
