Sheet Metal Foreman

Responsibilities Select gauge and type of sheet metal according to products being fabricated or installed. Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers. Interpret specifications, blue prints and work orders as needed for an area of supervision. Install and direct installation of assemblies in buildings or work-sites. Interpretcompany policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Establishand adjustwork sequences to meet construction schedules using knowledge of equipment, materials, and the capabilities of assigned personnel. Studyschedules and estimateworker-hour requirements for completion of job. Analyzeand resolvework problems. Maintaintime records and coordinates schedules. Provideinput for project estimates and schedules. Coordinateproject activities with other trades. Superviseand coordinatesub contractor activities. Works in conjunction with the assigned project manager to coordinate project schedules, deliveries, and activities.
