Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical Laboratory (IRCL) specialistlocated in Des Moines, Iowa. This position involves supporting vascular procedures within a hospital or medical center setting. The role requires 12 months of current interventional vascular, interventional radiology (IR) lab, or cardiac catheterization (Cath) experience, along with scrub, circulate, and monitor skills. The successful candidate will work a day shift schedule, with a start date of August 24, 2026, and will participate in a rotating call schedule.

Job Details:

• Location: Des Moines, Iowa
• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 12 months of current interventional vascular, IR lab, or cardiac catheterization experience in a hospital or medical center; scrub, circulate, and monitor experience; ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification; current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures; Iowa Radiology license highly preferred (considering licensing candidates; issuance timelines vary); drivers license; BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level I trauma experience; peripheral vascular experience; ARRT (CI or VI) preferred; RCIS/CCI certification is a bonus; strong performance references within the past 24 months.
• Additional Information: Work history must demonstrate 12 months of relevant IR or vascular procedure experience; skills checklist must be discipline-specific; a 16-hour New Business Orientation (NBO) is required; the position involves working on-call every third evening and weekend.
• Holiday Requirement: Unless the unit is closed, the contractor is required to work 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
• Submission Requirements: Clinical interview pre-screening with a 405 area code; reference checks and verification of professional certifications and licenses (including Iowa Radiology license and ARRT certification).
