Local Route CDL A Hazmat Driver - $29.10 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Enfield, CT.

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Details

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10pm - 12pm Start time

• Pay: $29.10 Per hour, $1,000 - $1,300 Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: Local deliveries to NY, ME, VT, NH, and MA

• Freight / Load Type: Car batteries and palletized freight

• Equipment: Straight Truck 28' and 53' Trailer with liftgates

• Handling: Touch freight, electric pallet jack unload, occasional hand unload when a dock is not available

CDL A Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience

• Endorsements: Hazmat

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Responsibilities:

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards

• Perform required handling tasks including electric pallet jack unload

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
