We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our corporate headquarters in Knoxville, TN. This is an on-site role with opportunities to grow and take on meaningful accounting responsibilities across multiple companies.Position Summary:The Staff Accountant will manage daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks, including general ledger and financial reporting, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and special projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.Key Responsibilities:Support the financial close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliationsPerform intercompany transactions and balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain the fixed asset ledger, depreciation schedules, and reconciliationsProcess accounts payable invoices and weekly check runs accurately and on timeManage 1099 vendor information and year-end reportingAssist with corporate credit card reconciliation and business license trackingEnsure all day-to-day accounting activities are performed efficiently and accuratelyQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting requiredMinimum of 1+ year of accounting experienceAdvanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilitiesDetail-oriented, accurate, and able to manage multiple projects under strict deadlinesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentExperience with Sage Intacct is a plusWhy Join Functional Pathways:Collaborative, team-oriented cultureOpportunities to grow and develop professionallyOn-site corporate environment in Knoxville, TN #J-18808-Ljbffr Functional Pathways
