Role Overview As a Tax Partner, you will play a pivotal role in leading and expanding the tax practice. You will leverage your extensive expertise to manage and develop client relationships, ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services, and drive growth initiatives. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, with occasional visits to headquarters in the Washington‑DC metropolitan area. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the tax department, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and laws. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic tax planning and advisory services. Review and approve complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Collaborate with other partners and the management team to drive business development and growth strategies. Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Stay updated on the latest tax regulations and industry trends to ensure clients receive the most current advice. Participate in firm-wide initiatives to improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction. Represent the firm in professional and community organizations to enhance the firm's reputation and attract new clients. Qualifications CPA certification is required. A minimum of 10 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax. Proven experience in a leadership role, with the ability to manage and mentor a team. Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client‑focused mindset. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business development strategies. Proficient in using tax software and embracing new technology.
