Enrollment Counselor

Job Description Primary Duties Student Recruitment and Enrollment Management Manages the Extended Studies (ES) student enrollment funnelacross all programs and modalities. Recruits prospective studentsthrough targeted outreach and recruitment activities aligned withinstitutional enrollment goals. Monitors inquiries and applicantactivity to ensure timely progression through the enrollmentprocess, maximize yield, and proactively identify barriersimpacting student enrollment. Provides accurate and timely information on admissionrequirements, academic programs, student services, scholarships,and financial aid. Establishes a personalized connection withprospective students through individualized outreach and consistentfollow-up to support informed decision-making and successfulenrollment. Directs the efforts of work study students whenapplicable to expand enrollment capacity and new studentsupport. Data Analysis, Reporting, and Enrollment Metrics Utilizes enrollment data, Slate system, and institutionalreports to track inquiry, application, admission, and enrollmenttrends across all Extended Studies programs and modalities. Analyzes key performance metrics to assess recruitmenteffectiveness, identify patterns impacting student enrollment, andsupport data-informed decision-making. Prepares and sharesenrollment insights with ES leadership to inform recruitmentstrategies, marketing efforts, and enrollment forecasting. Process Improvement and Cross-Functional Collaboration Continuously evaluates enrollment processes to identifyopportunities for increased efficiency, improved studentexperience, and stronger enrollment outcomes. Collaborates withinternal partners, including marketing, advising, admissions, andfinancial aid to streamline workflows and resolve enrollmentbarriers. Recommends and implements process improvements that supporttimely communication, consistent service delivery, and successfulstudent progression from inquiry through enrollment. Responsiblefor development and oversight of orientation for ES studentpopulations to ensure students have appropriate onboarding andorientation resources to ensure success at CSU Pueblo. Ancillary Duties Other duties as assigned Participates in Division and University affairs at Pueblo,satellite, or system locations to support the university's missionand vision. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college oruniversity. Ability to work independently and self-motivate. Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed. Experience working with diverse populations.
