We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in the flow monitoring industry. This position combines customer service, technical support, data analysis, and entry-level sales development responsibilities. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to customers while developing a comprehensive understanding of our flow monitoring products, field troubleshooting techniques, and data interpretation processes. Compensation

Starting Salary: $45,000 annually, plus commission based on sales volume and qualified opportunities generated.

The commission structure rewards employees for successfully identifying, qualifying, and supporting opportunities that lead to new business and align with the company's products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Technical Support

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding product support, service inquiries, and technical issues.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional, responsive, and timely communication.
• Manage customer expectations and ensure issues are addressed efficiently and effectively.
• Document customer interactions, service activities, technical support cases, and resolutions accurately.

Product Knowledge & Troubleshooting

• Develop a thorough understanding of the company's flow monitoring product line, including equipment operation, installation, maintenance, and functionality.
• Learn and perform field-level troubleshooting techniques to assist customers in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail while learning complex product features, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Work closely with technical and engineering teams to resolve advanced customer concerns and improve customer outcomes.
• Continuously expand technical knowledge to provide accurate product support and guidance.

Data Analysis & Support

• Analyze collected monitoring data to identify trends, operational issues, and anomalies.
• Interpret data and provide technical insights and recommendations to customers.
• Assist customers in understanding monitoring reports, system performance, and collected data.
• Support customer success by ensuring accurate interpretation and application of monitoring results.
• Communicate findings clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical customers.

Sales Development & Lead Qualification

• Identify potential sales opportunities through customer interactions, support activities, and industry relationships.
• Learn the company's products, services, and capabilities to effectively recognize qualified opportunities.
• Assist in evaluating incoming sales leads and determining their alignment with the company's solutions, products, and service offerings.
• Learn to distinguish between viable sales opportunities and inquiries that fall outside the company's capabilities based on previous accounts, project experience, and services provided.
• Collaborate with the sales team to transfer qualified leads and support business development initiatives.
• Assist with maintaining customer relationships that may lead to future equipment, service, or support opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn technical products, troubleshooting procedures, and data analysis techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer support.
• Prior experience in customer service, technical support, instrumentation, environmental monitoring, industrial equipment, or a related field is preferred but not required.
