Work Environment

This position is fully remote, providing flexibility to engage with clients through a secure telehealth platform. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Diagnose and treat various mental health conditions, adapting care plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate discharge plans that promote continuity of care and connect patients to necessary community resources.
• Facilitate referrals to other services, such as support groups and specialized treatment programs, to enhance patient care.
• Comply with legal and ethical standards as set forth by the Mental Health Practice Act and relevant clinical regulations.
• Engage in crisis intervention and provide family counseling when appropriate, addressing complex emotional and behavioral issues.
• Regularly communicate with other care providers and community agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Advocate for patients by fostering effective communication with all stakeholders involved in their treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological disorders. You will employ tailored therapeutic techniques suited to each client's unique circumstances, fostering resilience and healthy coping mechanisms. Special attention will be given to developing treatment approaches that are culturally competent and accessible, ensuring that all patients feel valued and understood.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution, verification required.
• Current state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or psychologist is mandatory.
• Strong familiarity with community mental health resources and referral processes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, candidates can potentially receive a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000. The role comes with flexible working hours, allowing you to set schedules that work for you and your clients. You will also benefit from the elimination of overhead costs typical in private practices, such as insurance issues and marketing expenses, as we handle client matching and eligibility checks.
