Human Resource Intern (St. Louis, MO)

Position Overview Part‑time Human Resources Intern – Creve Coeur, Missouri (St. Louis Area). The office is relocating from Clayton to the newly renovated Creve Coeur office on August 1, 2026. We are looking for a motivated, organized, and professional intern to assist the Human Resources Director. This internship offers valuable, hands‑on experience in human resources, employee relations, personnel administration, benefits, compliance, and organizational development. Part‑time: 20‑29 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Hourly pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour. Responsibilities Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Director. Assist with maintaining confidential personnel files and employee records. Assist with employee relations matters and HR projects. Support employee onboarding and other human resources initiatives. Assist with employee compensation, benefits administration, and organizational development programs. Help ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations, including COBRA, the ADA, the FMLA, and other applicable laws. Assist with developing, updating, and maintaining firm policies and procedures. Help communicate and enforce firm policies and procedures. Support training and professional development initiatives. Maintain a positive attitude while supporting the firm's goals through teamwork and professionalism. Perform additional projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field (preferred). High school diploma or equivalent. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Excellent attendance and dependability. Interest in human resources, employment law, or organizational development. Prior human resources, recruiting, administrative, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
