Details Cardiac Cath Lab setting within a hospital and trauma center Day shift schedule with an on-call rotation On-call required one night per week and one weekend per month Requirements Active WI or Compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification required 3 years of RN experience with 1 year in critical care required Cardiovascular intervention experience required Must successfully pass an EKG test Additional Information Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care Administer medications and treatments per approved nursing standards and policies Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians Provide patient and family education tailored to their level of understanding Participate in unit performance improvement activities and shared governance Utilize clinical expertise to support patients' longitudinal care plans and resolve system issues Escalate complex or safety-related situations to the appropriate chain of command Engage in continuous professional development and evidence-based practice initiatives Participate in peer review and feedback opportunities American Traveler Job ID P-749571.
