Position Summary

Super Color Digital is seeking a Business Intelligence & IT Systems Specialist to support our IT Manager and help improve reporting, system performance, data accuracy, and technology adoption throughout the company.

 

This position will play an important role in developing Power BI dashboards, configuring Salesforce reports and dashboards, integrating information from multiple business systems, and providing day-to-day technical support. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT Manager and department leaders to turn operational data into clear, actionable information that improves decision-making, production planning, sales visibility, customer service, and profitability.

 

This position requires someone who can understand business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop practical technology solutions that employees can use effectively.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

Power BI Reporting and Analytics

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Develop dashboards for sales, estimating, production, scheduling, purchasing, inventory, shipping, labor, quality, and financial performance.
• Create executive-level dashboards that clearly display key performance indicators, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Connect Power BI to Salesforce, PrintIQ, accounting systems, spreadsheets, databases, and other company data sources.
• Create data models, calculations, filters, and drill-down reporting.
• Automate recurring reports to reduce manual spreadsheet work.
• Monitor dashboard performance and ensure reports refresh accurately and on schedule.
• Work with department managers to identify the most meaningful measurements for their teams.

 

Salesforce Administration and Dashboard Development

• Build and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, workflows, and user views.
• Improve visibility into leads, opportunities, sales pipelines, customer activity, forecasts, and account performance.
• Assist with Salesforce user setup, roles, permissions, and general system configuration.
• Help maintain accurate and consistent customer and opportunity data.
• Identify ways to automate Salesforce processes and reduce duplicate data entry.
• Train users on Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and proper data-entry procedures.
• Troubleshoot user issues and coordinate with outside Salesforce support when necessary.

 

Business Systems and Process Improvement

• Support the IT Manager with the administration and improvement of company software systems.
• Assist with integrating Salesforce, PrintIQ, Power BI, accounting platforms, prepress automation, and other operational systems.
• Review existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation and improved data flow.
• Support Super Color Digital’s OneFlow initiative by creating better visibility across sales, estimating, project management, production, purchasing, and shipping.
• Help eliminate duplicate entry, disconnected spreadsheets, inconsistent reporting, and manual processes.
• Document system requirements and help test new software, integrations, dashboards, and workflow improvements.
• Assist with software implementation projects and system upgrades.
• Work with outside technology vendors and consultants as directed by the IT Manager.

 

Data Management and Accuracy

• Review information from multiple systems to identify missing, duplicated, or inconsistent data.
• Establish reporting standards and consistent definitions for company metrics.
• Help maintain clean and reliable customer, sales, production, inventory, and financial data.
• Create validation reports that identify errors before they affect reporting or operations.
• Maintain appropriate controls over access to confidential company and customer information.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data sources, calculations, dashboards, and automated reports.

 

IT Support

• Assist the IT Manager with day-to-day technical support for employees.
• Troubleshoot computers, printers, mobile devices, user accounts, network connections, and business applications.
• Help install, configure, and maintain workstations and approved software.
• Assist with new employee technology setup and employee offboarding.
• Maintain records of company computers, software licenses, devices, and other IT assets.
• Help manage user accounts, access permissions, password policies, and security practices.
• Escalate network, server, cybersecurity, or infrastructure issues to the IT Manager or appropriate service provider.
• Help maintain a reliable IT support-ticket process and communicate issue status to employees.

 

Documentation and User Training

• Create clear procedures, training materials, and system documentation.
• Train employees on Power BI, Salesforce, reporting tools, and other company systems.
• Help employees understand how accurate data entry affects reporting and business decisions.
• Communicate system changes, reporting updates, and new technology procedures.
• Provide patient, professional support to employees with varying levels of technical experience.

 

Recommended Qualifications

· Two or more years of experience with Power BI, business intelligence, data analytics, systems administration, or a related field.

· Demonstrated experience building Power BI dashboards and reports.

· Experience creating and maintaining Salesforce reports and dashboards.

· Working knowledge of Power Query, DAX, data modeling, and dashboard design.

· Experience working with Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, data cleanup, and reporting.

· Familiarity with SQL, APIs, databases, data connectors, or system integrations is preferred.

· Experience with manufacturing, printing, estimating, production-management, ERP, or MIS systems is highly desirable.

· Experience providing user support and troubleshooting business software.

· Ability to understand business processes and translate operational needs into technical solutions.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

· Strong written, verbal, training, and documentation skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly about progress, risks, and deadlines.

· Ability to protect confidential company, employee, customer, and financial information.

• PrintIQ or similar print-management/ERP platforms
• Accounting and financial-reporting systems
• APIs and automated data integrations
• Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, or other user-access systems
• Help-desk or IT ticket-management systems
• Basic cybersecurity, backup, and access-control practices
