Are you ready to help launch one of Philadelphia's most anticipated new restaurant openings? We're seeking a passionate, hands-on Sous Chef who thrives in a fast-paced, chef-driven environment and is excited about building a kitchen team from the ground up.
If you're looking for the opportunity to make your mark on a new concept while working alongside an experienced culinary leadership team, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do- Assist the Executive Chef in all daily kitchen operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop BOH team members.
- Ensure consistent execution of high-quality food and presentation standards.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Manage ordering, inventory, food cost, and labor goals.
- Help establish kitchen systems, training, and operational procedures.
- Step into a leadership role during service and lead by example.
- 2+ years of Sous Chef experience in a high-volume, upscale casual or polished casual restaurant.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring teams.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced opening environment.
- Experience with restaurant openings is preferred but not required .
- Culinary degree is a plus but not required.
- Competitive salary of $70K to $75K
