Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active California SLP license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.
• Experience with dysphagia management, standardized assessments, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with restorative programs and interdisciplinary care planning.
• Familiarity with goal-setting for skilled nursing populations and Medicare documentation requirements.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 08:00–16:30.
• Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
• Guaranteed hours: 35 per week.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide skilled SLP services to promote patient recovery, functional communication, and safe swallowing. Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to develop individualized plans of care. Document progress and discharge recommendations to support continuity of care.
