Principal Data ArchitectThe Principal Data Architect will have responsibility for partnering across the organization to take new products/solutions from inception to scalable, compliant systems – including designing, implementing, and managing the data infrastructure. The Principal Data Architect will work in a collaborative team environment to assess requirements, define architecture and design, develop and deliver high scale migration solutions that align to new cloud infrastructure, as well as manage this system once migrated. This individual must have an understanding of business needs that drive architecture decisions. A successful data architect is an analytical thinker who drives for results and has experience implementing and improving data activities in a key business segment.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect & design data management solutions at base value. Adjust and architect due to any changes in business requirements.Collaborate with technical teams across the company & customer base while improving speed to market by providing technical guidance to the teams.Ability to communicate fluently in data architecture, business and technical terminologyDevelops best practices for ensuring product quality through all stages of processing.Partner with internal product management team & external stakeholders through development lifecycle.Provide thought leadership on best practices on emerging trends over technology landscape.Identify opportunities, design and account management teams take sales through implementation processAct as a subject matter expert within both practices within the McKesson technical communityMinimum Requirement Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years, but 8+ years of direct work-related experience.Education 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant experienceCritical Skills10+ years as a Solutions Architect with recent hands-on development experienceExperience designing large scale cloud environments;5+ years cloud experience (Azure; Google; Amazon); Azure is requiredTechnical background in software developmentTechnical build out of POCs (Proof of Concepts)Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as DatabricksPlatform engineering experienceData integration and ingestion with ERP systems such as SAP is a plusData transformation and ETL experienceData Warehousing, Data Repositories & AnalyticsRequired Skills : Looking for a strong Principal Data Architect who has very strong Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory. Need to have experience designing large scale cloud environments Must have very strong communications skills Candidates need to have worked in a Greenfield environment before!Basic Qualification :Additional Skills :100% remote Short interview process.
