Certified Pharmacy Tech - Travel Job

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacy Technician licensure in the state of practice or active Pharmacy Intern licensure.
• Active Pharmacy Technician certification as required by the state or employer.
• Incumbents in Arizona must provide AZ Board of Pharmacy Wallet Card at time of hire.
• Minimum of two years pharmacy technician experience, including experience with packaging, distribution, non-sterile and sterile compounding.
• Experience preparing compounded intravenous medications, total parenteral nutrition, and chemotherapeutic agents in compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards.
• Experience with automated dispensing technology management and barcode scanning verification devices.
• Ability to perform moderate to difficult mathematical calculations using a hand-held calculator.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform duties requiring standing, walking, bending, reaching, and use of a personal computer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PTCB certification preferred.
• Experience training or providing indirect supervision to pharmacy technicians, trainees, or externs.
• Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 01:30–22:00.
• Position may require off-site travel and floating to other facilities as needed.
