Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active MA RN license and prior L&D experience on a 13-week rotating day/night contract.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• 36-hour rotating schedule with day (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) and night (7:15 PM–7:15 AM) shifts based on unit needs
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Uses Epic for charting
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification from AHA only
• NRP certification required (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
• MGB EFM certification required (AWHONN, 2-year renewal)
• Prior Labor & Delivery experience required
• 2 professional references required
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Local candidates must have a permanent residence more than 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for the standard travel rate
• Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public parking rates range from $17–$22 daily
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of candidate consideration
