Assembler I

AIM or MISSION:Veranda Luxury Pontoons is seeking a skilled Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you’ll contribute to building our premium all-aluminum pontoon boats by performing a variety of assembly tasks with precision and a focus on quality.DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/EXPECTATIONSCut and drill holes in fiberglass components as needed for installation.Install dash components, including gauges, switches, and trim panels.Mount and connect audio systems / GPS – Fish Finder.Program GPS head units for seamless navigation.Assemble and rig engine controls and steering systems.Buff and polish fiberglass components to a high-quality finish.Install furniture components, such as speakers, lights, and wiring harnesses, to enhance luxury features.Ensure all installations and finishes meet quality standards.Collaborate with the production team to keep things moving smoothly.Maintaining workflowIdentifying any defects of the rails before panelingKEY ACCOUNTABILIESExperience with electrical wiring, component assembly, or marine rigging (preferred but not required—we’ll train the right person).Comfortable programming or troubleshooting electronic units.Familiarity with hand tools, cutting, drilling, and buffing/polishing fiberglass a plus.Eye for detail and a hands-on attitude.Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Team player who takes pride in quality work.REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Knowledge of electrical/wiring systems (DC)Technical ExpertiseAble to perform repetitive motions (i.e. bending, climbing, standing, stoop, etc.)Mechanical AptitudeTeamworkEDUCATION & OTHER KSA'sCOMPETENCIESAbility to operate a variety of hand tools ( i.e. drill, hole saws, screw guns, pliers, etc.)ThoroughnessNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
