Our medication management programs and processes are proven to improve outcomes while reducing overall healthcare costs for our patients.Position Summary: The Staff Accountant (Entry Level) is responsible for performing a variety of general accounting tasks to support the Finance Department. This role contributes to the accuracy and integrity of financial records through account reconciliations, journal entries, and assistance with monthly closings. The Staff Accountant plays a key role in maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations while supporting the overall financial health of the organization.Essential Functions: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and appropriate supporting documentationPerform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliationsAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closingsMaintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciationMaintain prepaid account records and calculate amortizationPrepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for auditsProvide support to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as neededResearch and resolve accounting discrepancies and issuesParticipate in special projects and other duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
