Job Title

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP (Scrub Role)

Towson, MD | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, rotating Monday–Friday | 11-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Independently scrub cardiac cath lab cases across two cath labs and one hybrid OR, serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures including IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, Structural, PFO, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman
• Operate and document using equipment such as GE Innova IGS, Philips imaging systems, GE MacLab, IVUS, FFR, and EPIC EMR
• Participate in on-call coverage up to 13 weekdays as needed (5:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Monday–Thursday)
• Fulfill weekend on-call requirements, including Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 6:00 AM (expected 3 weekends per contract)
• Provide holiday coverage inclusive of on-call as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• ARRT-R and/or RCIS certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• Minimum 6–12 months of recent, hands-on cath lab scrub experience with the ability to scrub cases independently
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless otherwise specified
• Must be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions — travelers are first to float

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, PFO closure)
• Familiarity with GE Innova IGS, Philips imaging, GE MacLab, IVUS, and FFR equipment
• Prior travel nursing experience in a cath lab or interventional setting
