Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – Night Shift Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a dynamic Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our Nocturnal Critical Care team. The selected ACNP will directly manage critical care patients within a division committed to the growth and career development of its staff. Role Overview Ideal candidates are comfortable managing nocturnal care of patients, performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, providing education, counseling, and conducting research. The position is also open to highly motivated new graduates with prior critical care intensivist experience who thrive in a collaborative team environment. Minimum Requirements Current ACNP certification Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certification Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substances Experience or recent graduation with prior critical care experience encouraged. Work Schedule Full Time – 3 12-hour shifts per week, mix of days, nights, and weekends based on departmental needs.
