This role is focused on identifying inefficiencies, driving corrective actions, and establishing a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and sustainable improvement.The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for all site supply chain functions, including order management, production planning and scheduling, raw material, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods inventory control, as well as coordination with warehouse operations, sales, customer service, and manufacturing teams. This individual will maintain a strong focus on service, inventory accuracy, operational stability, and inventory optimization while balancing demand, inventory levels, customer orders, and production capacity to support site objectives.This position is responsible for ensuring the Supply Chain team performs at a high level to meet both internal and external customer expectations.Through strong leadership and analytical capabilities, the Supply Chain Manager will provide guidance in problem resolution and decision-making while developing, monitoring, and improving key processes and performance metrics that support business success.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Safety: Keep safety in the forefront of the team's thinking and approach to work. Ensure all Pregis Production System Safety expectations are adhered to.Planning: Oversee production planning and scheduling activities to support forecasted demand while balancing labor availability, equipment capacity, and inventory investment. Maintain optimal inventory levels to support on-time delivery performance and customer requirements while minimizing carrying and transportation costs. Manage site lead times and communicate product availability accurately. Establish, maintain, and ensure compliance with inventory stocking agreements. Serve as the primary supply chain contact for key customer accounts. Respond proactively to changing business conditions by adjusting production and inventory plans to achieve service and cost objectives.Purchasing: Work with Corporate procurement and Divisional Supply Chain to ensure that vendor supply is reliable to enable production needed to fulfill customer needs. Manage planning team to ensure requisitions and purchase orders are placed timely and appropriately to enable production while controlling spending constraints.Inventory Control: Manage and coordinate cycle count programs and annual physical inventory activities. Analyze inventory variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy and prevent service disruptions. Manage and resolve slow moving/inactive inventory and develop plans to avoid write-offs. Monitor inventory health and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory performance.Warehousing – Shipping/Receiving: Coordinate closely with warehouse operations to ensure material and inventory transactions are completed accurately, timely, and safely. Continuously evaluate warehouse space utilization and inventory flow efficiency. Communicate urgent customer requirements, backlogs, delays, and critical inbound material needs to ensure effective coordination of shipping and receiving activities. Partner with warehouse leadership to ensure inventory accuracy and operational alignment.Administration: Leveraging Dayforce (HRIS) manage and ensure employees are compliant with attendance, vacation, FMLA, vacation coverage and labor time clocks; provide timely approvals. Conduct periodic employee target and objective setting and performance evaluations with supervisors and team members. Manage employee performance and discipline while managing company risk and liabilities.Other: Acts as the key point of contact for all strategic Supply Chain initiatives. Understand site P&L and drivers for performance. Set the tone for the department culture, with emphasis on Safety, Quality, Profitability, and People Development. Attract, retain and develop key talent within the site. Maintain a visible presence on the production floor and within warehouse areas to monitor inventory accuracy, understand product flow, and support on-time customer delivery performance.Qualifications & Experience:BS/BA Supply Chain Management, required.Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a Materials Management/Supply Chain, 5 year in management role.Proven track record of project management skillsTPM, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and/or Six Sigma knowledge preferred.Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts/process and ability to apply themAbility to read, analyze, and interpret various reports and documents.Ability to present issues clearly and concisely; generate accurate analysis, with a good understanding of the cause and effect that will occur with each alternative solution both inside and outside the Supply ChainAbility to effectively lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with corporate functional partners.Intermediate level or better of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint and MS Teams) expectedStrong SAP system experience or comparable ERP systems to drive results.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid and concise conclusions and/or recommendations.Travel Requirements: Travel < 10%Compensation: The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis' total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $100,000 to $158,000, depending on experience and skills.Compensation details listed in US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits.
