Associate Project Accountant

TheAssociate Project Accountantis assignedto a smallerconstruction project(s) and partners with the Project Management teamtoassuretimelyandaccurateaccounting and risk management throughout the project life cycle. Ensures accurate reporting of financial information and timely invoicing pertaining to a particular project. Maintains project-related ledger accounts. Disseminates month-end project reports to management and relevant business lines. Maintains list of month-end deadlines and ensure that profit and cash flow forecasts are prepared on time and accurately. Reviews project forecasts on a regular basis and ensure any outstanding matters are dealt with on a timely basis. Maintains project register. Prepares month-end posting/ allocations and accruals.Controls the accounts payable and receivable tasks for the project. Identifies and assists with the resolution of basic project-related accounting issues. Ensures policies and procedures for project accounting are adhered to.
