Description The Clinical Staff Pharmacist II provides pharmaceutical care to Baptist Health patients of all ages through medication order review, preparation, dispensing, documentation, monitoring, patient counseling, and medication reconciliation. The pharmacist collaborates with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, effective, and fiscally responsible patient-centered care. Responsibilities include interpreting, reviewing, and processing medication orders, screening orders for appropriateness and intervening when necessary, working with physicians and care managers to focus on patient outcomes while maintaining cost, mentoring and developing the clinical skills of junior staff, precepting pharmacy and technician students in collaboration with the Pharmacy management team, and actively participating in educational topics, staff development programs, performance improvement projects, drug use evaluations, formulary reviews, and research projects. Estimated pay range: $53.11 - $73.26 / hour depending on experience.
