Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ER experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting within a 100-bed community hospital
• 14-bed unit treating all patient populations
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Uses Baxter pumps and Spacelabs cardiac monitors
• Charts in MedHost EHR
• Shift runs from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Works every other weekend as needed
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Trauma experience preferred
• MedHost EHR experience preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• AHA certifications required

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care to patients across all age groups and acuity levels
• Weekly orientation held every Monday
• Solid-colored scrubs of any color permitted
• Flexible personality and adaptability valued in this fast-paced setting
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
