Material Coordinator (1st Shift)

Pay Rate: $19–$21/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST)
Locations Hiring: Multiple openings (2 positions)

We are hiring Material Coordinators to support warehouse and material handling operations in a regulated GMP environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant handling of materials across shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution functions.

Schedule Details

• 8-hour shifts within a staggered start structure:
  • 3 staff start at 6:00 AM
  • 3 staff start at 7:00 AM
  • 3 staff start at 8:00 AM
• 40 hours per week
• Days may vary (Monday–Friday, Tuesday–Saturday, or Wednesday–Sunday)
• 2-week notice provided for schedule changes
• Transition to 12-hour Pittman schedule (2 on / 2 off / 3 on / 3 off) planned for October after training period

What You’ll Do

• Perform shipping, receiving, storing, transferring, and inventory reconciliation
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Operate forklifts and powered industrial vehicles (PIVs)
• Move materials using trucks when required (following DOT regulations)
• Ensure all materials are handled according to cGMP and GDP standards
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with SOPs
• Support audit readiness and regulatory inspections
• Follow safety and environmental procedures at all times
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Ability to follow detailed SOPs and regulatory procedures
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Forklift or PIV experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain active throughout the shift
