Project Engineer

Scott Humphrey has partnered with a large and reputable general contractor to assist in finding a Senior Project Engineer for their headquarters in San Antonio. As Project Engineer you will be an integral part of a team that oversees the construction of School/K12 construction projects; project quality control, subcontractor coordination, daily logs/project documentation, safety, and inspections. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage construction projects from start to finish
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget constraints
• Conduct site visits to inspect construction quality and address any issues or concerns
• Review and interpret project schematics and blueprints
• Utilize construction management software to track project milestones and documentation
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent from accredited institution Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes Superior communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent problem-solving abilities Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and/or Microsoft Project.
