Overnight Machine Operator

Job Title: Overnight Machine Operator Location: Lakewood, New Jersey Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $20.00 Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: Monday - Thursday, overnight 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (scheduled for 4 days, 48 hours per week) + occasional mandatory Friday (when scheduled) Overnight Machine Operator Responsibilities: Operate production machinery and equipment used to produce industrial textile material such as facings, liners, acoustic padding, vibration reduction material (rubber) and other industrial coatings. Prepare materials for production, load and unload materials throughout the process (rubber or putty-like raw material) Set-up and clean machines regularly following safety protocols Review processes and follow SOP instructions for quality assurance Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures at all times Overnight Machine Operator Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but may be waived in lieu of direct work experience. At least 1 year experience using a sit down forklift At least 6 months experience operating production machinery or production equipment Must be available to work overnight, 12 hour shifts 5 days per week.
