Job Title Lead Teacher 3 Department Human Resources | Child Care Program Location Child Care Center (0385) Position Type Regular Scheduled Hours 40 Shift First Shift Responsibilities Supervise and integrate daily and long‑term planning for the classroom in collaboration with the support team and other classroom team members. Ensure social, emotional, physical, and educational needs of children are met based on the center’s philosophy, curriculum, policies, and state licensing rules. Implement, evaluate, and communicate classroom programming, routines, and procedures. Manage classroom operations by completing necessary paperwork, training, evaluating staff, and problem solving with team and parents. Implement health, safety, and security processes and procedures including CACFP meal counting. Participate in professional development and center‑wide and university teams. Provide individually planned services as needed. Requirements Subject to successful completion of a background check. Drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
