Qualifications:
- Current and valid Physical Therapist License
- School-based or pediatric physical therapy experience preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of therapy documentation and compliance
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional mobility and physical needs within the school environment
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP and 504 requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies that maximize student progress
- Document treatment sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Communicate effectively with families, educators, and support staff
