Senior Analyst - Cashflow Data Scientist Salt Lake City (Hybrid) I'm partnered with a profitable fintech lender that has built one of the most extensive SMB cash flow datasets in its market. They've invested heavily in connected-account data and now sit on millions of bank transactions across funded merchants, declined applicants and broader prospect populations. The challenge? They're only scratching the surface of what's possible. They're looking for a Senior Analyst or Data Scientist to become the internal expert for transactional/open banking data and drive projects spanning credit risk, marketing and pricing: Marketing and Pre-Approved Offers Portfolio monitoring & early warning systems Growth analytics Proactive renewals and Credit Line Increase AI-enabled analytical workflows This isn't a reporting role. You'll partner directly with senior leadership to answer questions such as: Which merchants should we be approving or approving faster? Which portfolio segments are deteriorating before losses emerge? Where are we mispriced? What signals can drive growth that competitors are missing? What we're looking for: 2+ years working with Plaid, open banking or transactional banking data Strong SQL and Python Experience building features from transaction-level data Analytics experience within lending, fintech, credit, risk or adjacent sectors Ability to translate analysis into commercial decisions Nice to have: Small business lending Credit analytics AI/LLM tooling experience The hiring manager is specifically interested in people who have used transactional data creatively, not just for risk, but also for growth, sales enablement and customer intelligence. If you've worked with Plaid, Yodlee, DecisionLogic, MX, Finicity or similar datasets and enjoy turning messy financial behaviour into actionable business decisions, I'd be keen to speak. #J-18808-Ljbffr
