Outside Sales Roofing Representative Capstone Roofing | Santa Rosa, CA Full-Time Exempt Outside Sales | $40,000 base salary + uncapped 2% commission (Expected total annual compensation: $150K +, including base salary)+ $500 a month car allowance and a Fuel Card. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated, professional, and coachable Outside Roofing Sales Representative to join our Santa Rosa team. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY This is a full-time, exempt outside sales position working directly with homeowners throughout Santa Rosa and the surrounding North Bay area. You will run sales leads, meet with homeowners at their properties, inspect roofing systems, prepare estimates and proposals, and present roofing solutions directly to the homeowner. You do not need to come to us as a roofing expert. Capstone provides a structured training program that combines classroom instruction with hands-on field training. We will teach you our roofing products, inspection and estimating process, sales system, proposal process, and customer service standards. We are looking for someone who is motivated to succeed, comfortable talking with homeowners, and willing to learn and follow a proven process. WHAT YOU'LL DO Run sales leads and meet with homeowners throughout the Santa Rosa and North Bay market Conduct residential roof inspections and evaluate homeowners' roofing needs Safely use a ladder and access residential roofs as part of the inspection and estimating process Take measurements, photos, and gather information needed to prepare accurate estimates Develop professional roofing estimates and proposals Present proposals directly to homeowners and explain products, scope of work, pricing, and next steps Build trust with homeowners and provide a professional, consultative sales experience Consistently follow up with prospective customers and move opportunities through the sales process Maintain accurate customer and sales information within company systems Work closely with Production and Operations to ensure a smooth handoff after a project is sold Participate in ongoing classroom training, field coaching, ride-alongs, and sales development Represent Capstone Roofing professionally throughout the community TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT Capstone Roofing invests in developing our sales professionals. New Sales Representatives will receive extensive training that includes: Classroom-based roofing and sales training Hands-on field training Roof inspection and estimating instruction Ride-along with experienced team members and leadership Proposal and presentation training Customer communication and sales process training Ongoing coaching and professional development You bring the attitude, effort, communication skills, and willingness to learn. We will provide the training and tools to help you become successful in roofing sales. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We care more about work ethic, coachability, professionalism, accountability, and the ability to build relationships than having years of previous roofing experience. We are also interested in candidates from customer service, hospitality, retail, automotive sales, military, athletics/coaching, construction, home services, and other competitive or customer-facing backgrounds. REQUIREMENTS Must be able and willing to safely climb ladders and access residential roofs — this is a required function of the position Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to safely operate a vehicle in accordance with company policy and applicable law Comfortable traveling locally throughout Santa Rosa and the surrounding North Bay territory Final candidates offered employment will be required to successfully complete applicable post-offer screening requirements, which may include a drug screening, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, background screening, and non-DOT physical examination consistent with the essential functions of the position and applicable law Driving history will be evaluated in a manner consistent with California law and legitimate business necessity related to the position WHY JOIN CAPSTONE ROOFING?
