Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation Physical Therapist – Flexible/PRN (Austin, TX) Overview Provide primary therapy from evaluation to discharge, delivering functional rehabilitation in real‑life settings such as home, school, work, and community. Who we are looking for An experienced PT seeking a primary therapist role from evaluation to discharge Providing functional rehabilitation wherever life happens, whether at home, school, work, or in the community Treating clients beyond staged environments into real life experiences such as cooking, navigating grocery stores, restaurants, outdoor activities, and the workplace Thriving in an autonomous setting and valuing collaboration with a dynamic therapist team What you will receive Flexible schedule created by you Paid per hour (not just per visit) In‑person, 1:1 therapy with indirect services from home (documentation/communication) Continuity of care as the primary therapist from evaluation to discharge Team collaboration and co‑treats Drive time reimbursed at your clinical rate plus mileage reimbursement No weekend shifts Educational program access Growth and advancement opportunities Responsibilities Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans Regularly reassess the effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings, and family conferences Perform discharge evaluations, make recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, service recipients, and family members Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhanced patient outcomes Qualifications Minimum bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Current, unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapist Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance with state regulations Preferable one year’s work experience as a physical therapist Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury Effective professional communication, both verbal and written Ability to lift 50 pounds; ability to lift or transfer up to 100 pounds following safety procedures Fine motor skills and visual acuity; ability to walk and stand for extended periods Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and position frequently Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, per location policy and regulations, to verify physical capability with or without reasonable accommodations About Our Line Of Business Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
