Field Service Technician

Job Description Job Description HiFyve is hiring a Shop Technician in the construction industry in Milwaukee, WI! Salary: $35-$45/hr Shift: 1st Location: On-site, Wausua, WI Job Duties and Responsibilities - Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment in a shop environment - Perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system maintenance and repairs - Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure equipment meets operational standards - Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and verify completed repairs - Disassemble and reassemble machinery and components following OEM specifications - Perform basic welding, cutting, and fabrication as needed - Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and work orders accurately - Complete all service documentation and reports in a timely manner - Collaborate with service and parts departments to ensure efficient workflow - Follow all workplace safety and OSHA compliance standards Education Requirements - High school diploma or GED required - Technical or vocational training in equipment maintenance preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose complex systems - Experience with heavy equipment service and repair - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics - Basic computer and diagnostic software proficiency - Solid communication, organization, and problem-solving skills - Basic welding and fabrication experience - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks safely If you are interested, please apply
