Phlebotomist IOP

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for an Alexandria, Louisiana patient service center to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service. The role operates Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with potential for travel to additional sites.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
Process billing information and collect payments from patients
Prepare collected specimens for testing and provide administrative support

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
Minimum three months phlebotomy experience or equivalent
Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
Valid reliable transportation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
