Cindi Bane, DDS PC (practicing at New York Comprehensive Dentistry) is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant (DA) to join our respected, state-of-the-art dental team in Hewlett, NY.

Dental Assistant

1. Assist dentists during various procedures
2. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
3. Take and develop dental X-rays
4. Manage patient flow efficiently, including greeting patients as a dental receptionist when needed
5. Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to prevent infection transmission
6. Order supplies for office, ensuring office is properly stocked
7. Ensure compliance with all OSHA standards and infection control guidelines

part-time $20 - $25 per hour

1. Ability to learn new procedures, from infection control, assisting techniques to acquiring X-ray imaging and handling medical imaging equipment safely
2. Some understanding of dental terminology and infection control practices
3. Certification or training in chairside assisting and aseptic technique preferred
4. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
5. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
