Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Leadership role located in Hingham, MA. The leader will oversee daily store operations, ensuring a welcoming, inclusive environment and an elevated customer experience that reflects Banana Republic’s brand standards. Key responsibilities include coaching and developing store team members, managing scheduling and workload planning, and driving sales performance through effective merchandising, product presentation, and customer engagement. The role will monitor key performance metrics, support inventory and loss prevention processes, and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures. This position also collaborates with cross-functional partners and engages in local community initiatives to strengthen the store’s presence and support Banana Republic’s broader mission. Qualifications Leadership and people management skills, including team coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution. Retail operations expertise, such as store scheduling, inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention. Customer service and sales skills, including clienteling, service recovery, and driving conversion and average transaction value. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with capacity to partner across teams and interact effectively with diverse individuals. Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret store performance metrics and implement action plans. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by retail operations. Previous supervisory or leadership experience in retail, fashion, or customer-facing environments preferred. Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and standard office applications; ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
