Part - Time Residential Assistant Location: West Bay Group Home - Jasper, TX Position Number: P #648 Schedule: Hours and days vary based on program needs Compensation: $13.80 per hour Position Overview Burke is seeking a dependable and compassionate Part-Time Residential Assistant (RA) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home setting. The RA plays a key role in providing daily supervision, active treatment support, and maintaining a safe, clean, and home-like environment while working collaboratively with other professionals. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and assist residents with daily living activities * Provide active treatment training and support as scheduled * Promote a positive, respectful, and home-like living environment * Ensure the group home meets Life Safety and Health standards * Complete required documentation, including activity notes, medication inventory records, active treatment documentation, and progress reports * Collaborate with program staff and other professionals * Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Education * Required: High school diploma or equivalent Experience * Preferred: Six (6) months of experience working in a direct care role Licenses & Certifications * Required: Valid Texas driver's license Special Requirements * Ability to complete required training, including SAMA, CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving, Van Driving, and other assigned modules * Driving record must be insurable under Burke's insurance administrator Physical Requirements * Ability to see, hear, speak, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. * Ability to drive a vehicle * Hand and finger dexterity for documentation and daily tasks Why Join Burke?
