Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership in collaboration with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
- Ensure that all patients on the unit receive cost-effective, professional care that supports positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction while maintaining patient safety.
- Assess and take steps to improve the quality of the patient experience; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with the interprofessional team, delegate tasks appropriately, and support staff development and collaboration.

Requirements
- Active RN license (state-specific) to practice as a registered nurse.
- Leadership or supervisory experience within a nursing unit.
- Ability to collaborate with Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff.
- Strong focus on patient safety and quality of care; commitment to high patient satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work 5x8 day shifts in a travel assignment within a clinical setting.
