Start your Voyage –Apply NowPosition Summary:The Consultant Security Systems Engineer will be part of a leading edge, security systems team transforming a modern day enterprise infrastructure to an agile, agnostic, and highly trusted computing platform. Our team leverages highly technical assurance platforms to create a trusted capability that will allow Voya to take advantage of the lowest cost IaaS offering as well as enable the corporate IT environment to increase the security posture of the corporation. This position will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of the IBM Verify Identity Access and IBM Datapower, as well as any other existing security toolsets necessary to protect the financial future of Voya customers. The highest level technical resource for dealing with the most important, complex, or risky situations related to the implementation, communication, monitoring, and maintenance of policies and procedures to protect technology information, environments and systems. Position Description:Platform engineering responsibilities for supported platforms including:Design requirementsConfiguration to enable value to the enterpriseOversite of day-to-day operational support responsibilitiesIntegration of the technical tools with other technical platformsAdoption of the technical tools deeper into the enterpriseAssisting in defining of standards, guidelines, leading practices, metrics and continuous validation of system and capabilitiesTroubleshooting unique and complex problems related to processes, infrastructure, & web securityExpected to learn and implement new security products as neededDevelop pioneering approaches to emerging Information Security industry trends and assist with automation of the environmentKnowledge & Experience:Bachelor’s degree or number of years of experience as alternate.5+ years of experience with an enterprise level IT environment3-5 years of experience in monitoring, developing and implementation of information security systemsPrior experience working with IBM Datapower and/or IBM Verify Identity Access and MFA implementationsExperience in the consultative approach and support the cross organizational implementation of IT servicesStrong Unix Bash shell scripting experienceLeverage a wide range of security technologies including, but not limited to: logical access controls, identity and access management , LDAP, security, incident response, privileged access management, database and system monitoring, end user password, management and single sign on systemsAbility to understand and troubleshoot encryption(SSL/TLS), web traffic, and packet analysis.Experience effectively working directly with clients, team members, technical experts, professional staff, and management as needed to provide operational supportExperience planning and executing software and/or infrastructure upgrades with minimal service disruptionExperiencing using ServiceNow preferredUnix/Windows/VMWare hands on experienceFamiliarity with IP/Network/Cloud infrastructure componentsInformation Security Principles & TechnologiesDisciplined in documentation maintenanceJava scripting experience is a bonus#LI-LW1Compensation Pay Disclosure: Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed.
